KRONIA Privacy Policy

KRONIA is a private digital memory book designed for parents and guardians to preserve important moments, photographs and stories from a child’s life. KRONIA is provided under the PAXINTU brand by Luděk Kašparovský, a sole trader established in the Czech Republic (“we”, “us” or “PAXINTU”).

1. Information we process

When you use KRONIA, we process information that you provide directly to the app. This includes your account email address and the content you choose to add to your child’s memory book, such as the child’s name, birth information, dates and places, parents’ names and dates of birth, photographs, moment titles, descriptions and other information you voluntarily enter.

KRONIA also processes limited technical information necessary to operate the service, such as authentication data, app-related identifiers, subscription status and purchase entitlements.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. How we use information

We use information only as necessary to provide and operate KRONIA. This includes creating and maintaining your account, storing and displaying your memory book, photographs and moments, synchronizing your data, generating book exports such as PDFs, managing access to KRONIA PRO features, providing customer support, maintaining the security and reliability of the service and complying with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your child’s photographs or personal information for advertising, profiling, facial recognition or biometric identification.

3. Information about children

KRONIA is designed for use by parents and guardians, not for children to create or manage their own accounts. Information about a child stored in KRONIA is provided by the adult account holder. By adding information or photographs relating to a child, you confirm that you are entitled to provide and store that information.

We do not knowingly ask children to create KRONIA accounts directly.

4. Service providers

KRONIA uses Google Firebase services for authentication, cloud database storage, file storage and backend functionality. Core application data and uploaded files are stored using Firebase services configured for European regions where supported.

Subscription status and purchase entitlements are processed through RevenueCat together with the applicable app marketplace, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google independently process information related to purchases and payments according to their own privacy policies.

KRONIA does not currently use Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics or Firebase Performance Monitoring.

5. International data processing

Some service providers used by KRONIA may process data in countries outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal data.

6. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information stored through KRONIA. Data transmitted between the app and backend services is protected using secure encrypted connections. Access to KRONIA user data is restricted through authentication and access-control rules.

No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but KRONIA is designed to minimize unnecessary access to personal information.

7. Data retention

Your KRONIA account information and memory-book content are retained while your account remains active and as necessary to provide the service.

When you delete your KRONIA account, the account and associated KRONIA content are deleted from our systems, subject only to limited information that must be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or compliance with legal obligations.

Information independently retained by Apple, Google or other service providers is governed by their respective retention policies.

8. Account and data deletion

You can permanently delete your KRONIA account directly within the app using Menu → Delete Account.

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion from the web using the instructions on our KRONIA Account Deletion page.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability of certain information or to object to certain processing.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, these rights may arise under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may contact us at support@paxintu.com regarding a privacy request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

10. Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we primarily process information because it is necessary to provide the KRONIA service you request and to perform our agreement with you. We may also process limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate interests such as protecting the security, reliability and integrity of KRONIA. Where applicable law requires consent for a specific type of processing, we will request that consent.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when KRONIA changes or when legal or regulatory requirements change. The current version will always be available on this page together with its effective date.
